Engineering & Infrastructure

The design and build behind a network that works the first time. From RF surveys and wireless design to private 5G/LTE and turn-key builds, we engineer infrastructure that is measured, documented, and ready to hand off.

What is included

From an empty site to a validated network

The full engineering lifecycle, delivered by people who have done it in the field.

RF & site surveys

On-site measurement of coverage, interference, and capacity so the design is built on data, not assumptions.

Wireless design

Wi-Fi 6/6E and private cellular designs engineered for the real environment — dense, industrial, or wide-open.

Private 5G / LTE

Private wireless for coverage and control where public networks and Wi-Fi fall short, including CBRS builds.

Network architecture

Routing, switching, and segmentation designed for performance, resilience, and clean growth.

Security & segmentation

Infrastructure designed with segmentation and access control built in, not bolted on afterward.

Validation & documentation

Post-build validation against the design, with documentation your team can actually operate from.

When you need this

When you need this

Coverage where there is none

Large sites, metal-dense facilities, or acreage with no power or existing infrastructure to build on.

A build that must be right

New facilities, expansions, or upgrades where a redo is expensive and downtime is not an option.

Private wireless for IoT / RTLS

Environments running asset tracking, sensors, or gateways that need reliable, controlled connectivity.

How it works

A clear path from first call to done

1

Survey

We come to the site and measure — RF, coverage, capacity, and the physical realities the design has to respect.

2

Design

We engineer the wireless and network design to the survey data and your goals, and review it with you.

3

Build

We deliver the build — in-house or with vetted field teams — to spec, with our solar trailers standing up connectivity where there is no power.

4

Validate

We test against the design, document the as-built, and hand off a network your team can run.

Why Golden Lab

Engineering that has left the whiteboard

Plenty of firms can draw a design. Golden Lab engineers have surveyed the sites, climbed the masts, and validated the builds — including remote sites powered by our own solar trailers. The design accounts for the field because we live in it.

  • RF, wireless, and private cellular expertise in one team
  • Solar-trailer platform to deliver connectivity where there is no power
  • Designs validated against measured data, then documented
  • Veteran-owned, senior-led, North America coverage

Questions, answered

Engineering & Infrastructure: the common questions

Do you design Wi-Fi, private cellular, or both?

Both, and we help you choose. Wi-Fi 6/6E is the right tool for many environments; private 5G/LTE wins where you need wide coverage, predictable performance, or control that public networks and Wi-Fi cannot provide. We design to the environment, not to a favorite technology.

Can you handle a site with no power or existing infrastructure?

Yes — that is a specialty. Our solar-powered trailers combine power, connectivity, lighting, and surveillance for sites without existing infrastructure; site requirements and timing are confirmed during planning.

Do you just design, or do you build it too?

Either. We can deliver a design and documentation for your team to build, or take it all the way through build and validation. Most clients want the survey-to-validation package so one team owns the outcome.

What do we get at the end?

A network that matches the design, tested and documented — including an as-built your team can operate and support from on day one.

Have a site that needs to be engineered right?

Send us the location and the goal. We will tell you how we would survey, design, and build it.
