Holman: wireless asset tracking on lots that had nothing
The problem
Holman, a national fleet-management company, needed real-time visibility of vehicles across two remote lots in O’Fallon, Missouri. The lots had no AC power, no vertical infrastructure to mount gateways on, and short-term leases that made trenching, poles and permits impossible to justify.
The deployment
Golden Lab delivered solar-powered trailers with 30-ft masts hosting the wireless gateways and antennas that communicate with tracking tags on every vehicle — powered entirely off-grid, secured with cameras and motion lighting, and managed remotely by our engineers.
